|~Davovar's Search for Truth~|

After the betrayal and failure at Mt. Vherik, Davovar searches for the truth of his fathers supposed "death" in order to clear his name. Before Davovar head out he speaks with the court wizard in hopes he can sell some of the potions he found in the city beneath Alben's Hold. He got a better deal than he thought, after asking about the mystical purple potions the Wizard asked more and more questions and in turn payed Davovar for the information. In the end He didn't have to pay a cent for some supplies and a new Golden Steed. After a long trek to his home town of Frosts’Trorres he came up to his cousin Drengar's house, where he laid low until the cover of night. Since he was wanted by the Legacy of the Archaic Unknown for killing the guild leader (Davovar's Father), whose base of operations Davovar needed to get into. Drengar his cousin was the only one he could trust in the town, because he sincerely believes that Davovar didn't kill his own father. He describes to his cousin what his plans are for infiltrating the guild hall and retrieving his fathers journal. He believes that his fathers journal will point him to where his father actually is. When night falls He makes his way to the Guild Hall and finds a way to get in undetected through the back of the building. Once inside his goal is to find the secret passage ways that will lead him to the winding catacombs underneath the city. Getting to the catacombs was easy but navigating them was a separate monster. He wandered the catacombs for six hours before he found these weird symbols on the top of the archways that connected each individual tomb. After walking for a little while longer he noticed a pattern with the symbols. So he followed the symbols and found this inner grotto. Inside this central area there are two huge mausoleum's, with plant life surrounding them like he had never seen before, when out of nowhere this raspy high pitched voice that said he wanted to eat Him because he was so hungry. Long story short He had to kill this creepy voiced hermit. After this confrontation He mustered all of his strength and pushed open one of the mausoleum doors and inside he finds a central coffin with about 100 coffins encircling the center one, about 50 on an upper floor overlooking the lower floor which also has around 50. In his curiosity he opened the main coffin and once he does this a skeleton of a man sits up and casts this spell on him saying afterwards "Flesh of My Flesh". After this happened the skeleton receded and the coffin closed and moved off to the side to reveal a staircase behind it. Heading down the stairs he finds his fathers study, a rather large place. Searching around He finally finds the journal he was looking for. After rifling around for some more gear He left the study through a portal that apparently and conveniently opened at the beginning of the Catacombs. After he made his way back out of the Catacombs he finds himself being attacked and knocked out by the current guild leadr of the Archaic Unknown. His cousin Drengar, just in a nick of time grabs Him and takes him to a place known as "The Haven" to recover. The tale past this point is clouded and cannot be divulged by normal means of storytelling.


|~Kembo's Calling~|

After the grave defeat atop Mt. Vherik Kembo spent time in Alben's Hold working at various jobs, to keep him sidetracked from the loss of a Dragon's Egg. About two months of working in the city Davovar catches up with Kembo and they get a job from the countess to quash a bandits nest east of the City in the far ends of the plains of Louknir. Kembo and Davovar set out and did as they were, assigned, but on the way back to Alben's Hold they were met by a large White Dragon that requested the urgency of Kembo to meet with the High Conclave of Dragons. After sending word to the countess that the initial mission has been completed, Kembo along with Davovar hit the skies on the back of the White Dragon. Arriving to Evroth the hidden Sancuary of the Dragons, Kembo and Davovar are escorted by a Dragon Acolyte named Derik, through the beautiful domain to a huge cave overhang known as the Scaled Chamber. Inside the chamber Kembo is addressed by the High Conclave about a form of Dragon’s Blood known as Sentinal’s Blood.


The Betrayal

The Red Dragon

With the group back at Alben’s Hold they are summoned atop the Castle to speak with The Countess and her Dragon Aeora. The Red Dragon inform’s the group that a Dragon Egg has been stolen by a Necromancer and has fled to Mt. Vherik in the lower end of the Ivarian Mountains known as the Ivarian Claw home to the Tempest Pass. Aeora advises the group that this is no ordinary Dragon Egg but an Egg that has been set aside and in Incubation for over 600 years in order to become the next leader of the Meteoric Society of the Dragon. If this egg is so important why doesn’t the Dragon Council go and retrieve the egg? Well during this time the Meteoric Society has strayed away from the interaction of the world to impact it less. The society is said to only interfere where there are cataclysmic events and magical phenomena. Because of this the task befell the group the Countess has started to trust and believe in. Before the group leaves the Countess gives every member of the group these dark blue medallions. What are those for your probably asking yourself. Those are shields as their called in this world, a protective magic shields the wearer from severe cold. So with the information received and the medallions the group sets off to journey to Mt. Vherik.

The Red Dragon

The peak is north-east about a 2 week ride from Frosts’ Torrez the home town of Davovar. After the long trek into the Northern Wastes the group finds their way to Mt. Vherik. Carefully climbing without climbing gear they slowly make their way atop this peak. What they find is quite unsettling. When they reach the peak there appears to be the leftovers of a ruin with four pillars. On the center pillar the hero’s see a Dragon egg with this black energy encircling the egg. In front of the egg the group see’s the necromancer they have been looking for, but before they could attack him, he vanished and left his minions to deal with these feeble “hero’s”. After the battle the party attains the egg, and Arim for some reason unknown to the Author grabs the egg and throws it off of the peak, as it rolls down the snow covered peak and vanished from sight. After being tied up by the group Arim escapes and flees from the area, while the group is confronted by the necromancer again, but this time he has a baby black dragon at his side. With this crushing defeat the group heads back to Alben’s Hold to devise a plan for finding the necromancer and the Dragon. During this time the Hero’s split up and ventured their own ways.

The Orders

After the group healed and were rested the Countess requested another mission for them to undertake. Due to the brutality they had just experienced she wanted to give them something easier to do. She requested for them to head to a village north of Alben’s Hold called PineWatch. Apparently a group of bandits had ransacked the town and left only a few survivors and captured some of the rest. The Countess wants you to find the bandit encampment and save the captured townsfolk. Shortly after getting traveling supplies they left for PineWatch.

The Encampment

One week passes before the group reaches the town of PineWatch to see it left in complete ruin. Upon arrival the group finds three people waiting for them outside of a farmers house who took charge after the attack. The farmer in charge tells the group that the bandits who attacked left south-west after the carnage had stopped. Knowing this the group left to the south-west of the town in order to track them back to their encampment. After about a day’s walk south-west they find great sign of the bandit presence in the area, and after scouring the area they eventually find their way to a lakeside cave. After scouting the cave they find that the bandits are just inside the front of it, so they devise a plan to chop down a tree and throw it onto the bandits after they lure them out. So they enacted their plan and took out four of the bandits guarding the entrance. Once inside the cave the group finds more of the bandits some sleeping and some keeping watch. Being stealthy they ambush them and kill the entire bandit group with minimal damage to them, but once they killed the group the three main members of the bandits remained. They fought well but in the end even they were vanquished. Now freeing the prisoners the group finds a door. Not a normal door by any means. This door is solid metal from estimation a few feet thick, with nothing but a flat surface and no keyholes. After relentless attempts to open this door they finally leave with the prisoners to return them to the town. On the way out of the cave the group spots a Red Dragon flying overhead towards Alben’s Hold. After escorting the civilians back they asked for a reward but because of the recent attack on the village the only thing they could offer was knowledge or rather a myth about a nearby cave that was once filled with unknown secrets and treasures. It was once a refuge for a sect of the “Surmyen” race. After this they head back to Alben’s Hold, but before they left the Countess astral projected herself to the group in order to contact them and teleport them back to Alben’s Hold.

The Begining

The Venture Thus Far

Fate Incarnate

What brought this band of diverse adventurers together? Was there a single cause they all wanted to be apart of. Or was there some greater Evil they all had to band together and vanquish? Ill tell you now reader, it was none of the above. From the beginning of time these characters fates have been weaved together by the loom of fate, but who or what brought them together? Well, no one knows who brought them together, but they all know what brought them together. For it was no mortal man but a dark figure a shadow of time itself; some people have come to know him, by the stories now told. He appeared to most of these adventurers and pointed them into the way they were fated to walk.

By Her Request

Well where did they go, which direction did this shadow of time point them into? The Direction lead them to the largest Western Coastal City of Alben’s Hold. To their surprise while they were exploring the city they saw a flash of light coming from behind the tavern which peaked their interests. Upon arriving to investigate this mysterious flash they find a man lying there unconscious. The next thing they know the corner of the tavern is on fire and the guards are on their way over. Once they arrive they convict these bystanders of setting the fire and throw them into the dungeons. While they were in the dungeons they became better antiquated and wondered where this man from the flash came from. While they were incarcerated this man was still unconscious. About an hour later a lady by the name of Amber Reath came and released them from the prison explaining that She saw what had happened and that the flash caused the fire. Right after these strangers were let go they were summoned to meet with the Countess of the Region. Much to their surprise when they meet the Countess it is none-other that Amber Reath the one who testified of their innocence. She asked of them a proposition which was to rid the lower market sewers of the nasty Kobolds that have taken up residence in them. So the team did as they were asked and up-rooted these vile Kobolds of their new found home. On their way back to inform the countess of their mission they saw a rust monster flee down one of the abandon tunnels, so they followed it. When they got to the end of the abandon tunnel they get to a huge, what looks to be like a cistern where all the sewers convene into one drop shaft.

Into The Deep

While these adventurers were meandering around on the platform that was covering up half of this cistern, everything stops, the adventurers are unable to move and before them appears a man in black robes and glowing blue eyes. This man speaks to them telling them to destroy the “Seal” and afterwards, everything gets set back into motion. Shortly after this figure vanished the platform the adventurers were standing on fell from beneath them and they all went tumbling down this abyss, and passed out. Upon awakening they are in a pool of water and are unscathed. In the center of this cylindrical room there is a central walkway that spans east to west. When they finally compose themselves they decide to take this central path to the west. As they follow the path west it gets smaller and smaller until they come into a semi-dark room with three unknown figures towards the back of the room. Getting closer to the figures they notice the adventurers and spring into action to fight against the adventurers. In the end the three figures or Wights as their known are lying in the dirt, dead. After this small venture they head back out of this small room they ventured into and headed down the eastern tunnel to find themselves in a deep black fog with an ominous voice welcoming them to these depths they’ve found themselves in.

The Protector

Where Are We? What brought us here? These are the questions of the adventures as they emerged from the veil of black fog in a sealed off underground city. Being the adventures they are they decided to look around all the while this “Protector” of a forbidden seal is speaking to them. He tells them to find four keys and to break in and destroy the seal. Why? Why would this “Protector” want the adventurers to destroy the very thing he is protecting. Some people say it was a curse that bound the Protector to the this seal. Or perhaps he thought he could best these mere normal adventures, but what he lacked the knowledge of knowing was that these were not “Normal Adventurers”. After finding the keys and opening the door the group bested this “Protector”. What he left behind was a vertically slender crystal known as a Seal. What does this crystal seal away? Why did the man in black Robes tell the adventures to destroy it? So many questions arose in the thoughts of the group. In the end they tried destroying it and touching it individually but the Seal only harmed the group multiple times. Only when the entire group interacted with it, did it finally produce results. After interacting with the crystal it sent the group into a trance like state which they are still unable to speak about. When they finally came out of the trance they fell unconscious but the the crystal or “Seal” was destroyed. Whatever they did it worked.
